A Trusted Resource: Your local Autism Advocate.

We have been an affiliate of the National Autism Society, the oldest grassroots organization advocating for individuals on the autism spectrum, for more than 40 years. Autism Society Greater Baton Rouge. assists families in accessing appropriate services through our advocacy and support efforts; hosts family activities and events for members of our chapter; informs members of upcoming trainings and educational opportunities and assists them in their search for additional support as needed to attend conferences and workshops.

In addition, we offer ongoing information and resource material for those with ASD, their families and the professionals who serve them. Our chapter meets quarterly to bring additional support to families to facilitate networking with other families with ASD. Professional guest speakers in the field of Autism are among some of the opportunities offered to members of the chapter at meetings and workshops. Our meetings are on Saturdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Bluebonnet Library.
